   Last week，the weather was freezing cold and a snowstorm swept our city.The thick snow and the icy ground made it hard for us to get around.
   To ensure our safety，a snow clearing activity was launched.Some of my teachers and classmates offered to shovel ice，sweep snow with spades and lay non-slip mats along the corridors.When we finished the roads near our classroom，we moved to the school gate to help clear a path on which students come to and leave school.At last，more teachers and students joined us and cleared the snow on the main road.
   Even though we were tired out，we were happy to be able to give a hand to people around.
