【答案】One year ago，I was in great trouble．I worked hard at English and devoted all my spare time to practising English．But I failed to pass the mid-term examination．I felt very disappointed．
So I asked my grandpa for advice when I went home．Hearing what I told him，he said examination resulted more or less on a fortuitous phenomenon．We can't judge our improvement only by one examination．He encouraged me to stick to working hard for a long time to check my results．I took my grandpa's advice and have been doing it as he told me to since then．Now my English is much better than before．
From my experience，I feel that we need advice from older generation．I will thank my grandpa with my better grades.
