I'm glad to tell you something about our Chinese New Year．Chinese New Year is the most important holiday in our country falling on January or February．
On the eve of the new year，all the family members gather together and eat a family reunion dinner．After the meal they watch TV until the clock strikes twelve．Then every family sets fireworks to welcome the new year．On the first day of the new year people will eat jiaozi which is the traditional food for the festival．We children especially like the festival because we can get pocket money．
