It was a cold winter morning in Orange County，Florida when a large group of people boarded Timmy's bus.Due to the heavy snowfall，almost everyone at the bus stop had rushed inside to avoid the cold，making the bus more crowded than ever.
When driving，Timmy was surprised to hear the passengers arguing. "I wonder how his mother raised him.Can't he see that the poor lady is in trouble？She's been standing for so long!" Timmy heard a woman complain loudly.When he looked in the mirror，he noticed a woman，probably in her late twenties，standing beside an old woman and casting a stern（严厉的） look at a window seat.
Timmy noticed the passenger sitting on the seat was Jonathan，the 10-year-old boy who was a frequent passenger on his bus.Jonathan sat quietly on his seat，with his eyes wide open，staring at the passengers criticizing him.But the boy didn't speak a single word，which annoyed the passengers even more.
"Well，" the old woman finally spoke up， "I am really sorry for the young child.I don't mind standing here，but I'm struck by how he's listening to everything we're saying to him while acting as if he doesn't understanding anything.
