     As she approached her final delivery，however，she saw an unexpected scene.Mrs.Green，an elderly widow who lived alone with her dog，sat on her front steps，weeping softly.Noticing Eva approach，she wiped her eyes and tried to calm herself down.
     Concerned，Eva stopped her bike and walked over to Mrs.Green. "Is everything alright？Can I help you with anything？" she asked，sincerity shining through her voice.Mrs.Green hesitated，but eventually managed to share her story.She explained that her beloved dog.Sam，had gone missing earlier，and her poor health limited her ability to search for him.The old lady wept as she expressed her fears of losing her best friend.
