• 35．Nicholas Joy，a 17-year-old teenager in America，likes skiing（滑雪）.On March 3rd，he went skiing in Maine.When he was planning to go home，a heavy snowstorm hit the area.Joe wasn't able to see far.Before he knew it，he had lost his way.The boy was alone.He didn't have food，water or a phone.He was getting colder by the minute.
      Joy didn't know where he was.He tried to calm himself down.Suddenly，he thought of the survival（生存）shows he watched on TV.It was time to use the lessons he learned.He should find a place to keep himself warm.The first thing he did was to build a small snow cave （洞穴）with some tools.Then he got many branches （树枝）and put them on top of the cave to stay as warm as he could.
      By that evening，Joy was really hungry.He ate snow and drank water from a river near him.
      He slept in the cave with his arms and legs close to his body.The next day，Joy went out to look for jye.ailp.He couldn't find anybody and went back to his cave.On March 5，Joy went out again.He walked for about a mile when somebody found him.Finally，Joy was saved.
